Royal Yacht Club of Belgium
About Royal Yacht Club of Belgium
The Royal Yacht Club of Belgium dates back to 1851, and given it's location in Antwerp has seen a lot of changes, and two world wars.
It is nothing but resilient and now boasts a brand new clubhouse and home port on the River Scheldt.
Marinas and mooring
The club controls, or shares control of three marinas.
- Wolphaartsdijk marina. Close to the lock to the Oosterschelde it holds about 100 boats and is a great base to explore this beautiful part of Belgium.
- Antwerp Linkeroever marina is set in the green part of the city, with the centre only 1km away.
- Antwerp Willemdok is set in the hippest part of Antwerp, right in the city.
The club also has access to over 600-sq metres of land for winter storage.
Sailing
The club has a full sailing calendar and a sailing school for adults and children.
